Floods : 27/1/2010
Visited the club today by river bank to read the elec meter. Lane and fields are flooded but the flood does not seem to have reached club grounds. River is well down and sluice open so access probably OK in a day or so. Whole club looked in good order - nothing dead in the kitchen, nothing moved in the boat park. Training hull has tried to escape but sadly did not succeed.

sailing : 7/12/2009
Well sailing was fantastic on sunday. Hope all on the land (sensible ones) enjoyed the show and that I did not scare my crew or the power boat drivers too much. The vision does plane very well on the run. It's worring when the crew say's "I had my eyes closed".

Floods and AGM : 5/12/2009
Visited club Saturday AM with Richard to change jammed lock on gate. Water in lane 7 inches deep but reducing because the sluice gate had opened. By time we left sluice had shut again, presumably because last nights rain had upped the river again. Would guess access to club will be OK for tomorrows AGM. If coming and lane is flooded at Chaceley we will try put up a notice at cross roads near church. May feature Land Rover shuttle to club on phone call.
